Incredible Opportunity

The weather is nice and pride is in the air!  We'll be present and visible in the parade and in the park this weekend.  I hope to be at our booth on Saturday, and after church on Sunday.  Invite someone to join you at Cornerstone this Sunday as we celebrate Pride and continue our 50 Days of Love series.

This week we will be focusing on kindness and how it makes us a better lover of God and people.  May our kindness be experienced by many this weekend as we take the good news of the gospel outside the walls of our church.  May the sweetness we tasted last Sunday, be the sweetness that we share.  I hope to see you Saturday and Sunday!

50 Days Of Love

Love, love, love, why do we need 50 Days of it at church? Because it was the second most taught subject by Jesus.  If it's that important to Jesus, it's important to us.

Like many other things in life, we have some wrong thinking about love, especially from God's perspective. Join us for this life-changing series as we learn, live and share more love.

Look, They Are Everywhere!

Signs of resurrection are all around us.  I just came in from my yard and these are some of the beautiful things I enjoyed this morning.  If a picture is worth a thousand words, I can close this out.

Look around you.  Look for signs of resurrection outside the tomb.  They are everywhere!

Worry Not, the Stone is Gone

On the first Easter Sunday, as the women made their way to the tomb of Jesus, they were worried. They had the oils and spices needed to anoint the body of Jesus, but they were concerned about the large, heavy stone that had been placed to secure the tomb. The good news is that when they arrived the stone was gone and the body of Jesus was not there, for He is Risen!
What are you worrying about today? God is still in the business of removing obstacles that keep us from life and life abundantly. Join us Sunday as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus! Come expecting your stone to be gone and leave in newness of life.
We now offer programming for children ages 3-9 as well as a youth group for teens. Our intent is to recruit more teachers so we can minister to all the children God brings our way. Just let me know if you would like to join this important ministry.
After the service we invite you to enjoy a special Easter brunch in the Fellowship House. And with all of the cute bunnies and eggs, let us remember, Easter is all about Jesus!

Good Friday Service - Taize Style - 7:00pm

Have you ever spent an hour focusing on Jesus? It's an awesome experience! This service is designed so that each person can journey to the cross, remember, and give thanks for Jesus, God's greatest gift of love.

Come contemplate Good Friday through scripture and song. You may bring a candle if you wish as we will be placing them at the cross throughout the service. Give Jesus one hour on Friday, hopefully with your Cornerstone family.
